My favorite color theory book so far

This one is top notch. I love the chapters that teach the separate color principals I focus on in different lessons. Mark Gonyea's A Book About Color: A Clear and Simple Guide for Young Artists. I use them in whole group readings. I wish the book was bigger, but that's all. I'm glad I bought it. His books about design are pretty great too. I think they work better as a reading nook book for now, that's because I don't teach the design tips he offers... not yet anyways.
